Tech Tips
We recommend to reduce the RPM of the motor slightly. Without reduction you will shoot about 50 RPS. You can easily adjust the rpm via the adjustment screw on the rear of our end-bell. Upgrading your bushings / bearings are also important. For precise shimming consider our low profile CNC 8mm Bushings. We bond our bearings / bushings to our gearbox shells.
If you are building in an M4 platform, we recommend using a PTS grip for proper motor alignment and tolerances.
Having a proper nozzle and high quality bucking are also crucial components to compression. For after market hop chambers such as Maxx, Retro, & Gate, use our 21.1 POM nozzle. Maple leaf buckings are recommended.

Only put a few thousand rounds through the gun but so far I’m stoked! The piston works great and had perfect AOE . Motor is very efficient and it’s cool to have adjustments without having to put a titan in every build. Got 55rps with motor turned down a hair so I’m guessing it’s hitting 60-70rps all the way up. Remember to loctite the piston head(I forgot and it came off). Also the tappet plate was thicker than the stock one, this caused low fps and full auto feeding problems. I cut the stock tappet plate and now it runs flawlessly. Highly recommend!
While the components look good only time will tell as to how well they will hold up. The one thing I would like to see that I also believe should have been included as part of the kit is the basic recommended piston spring itself. Either that or a drop down to choose a recommended spring listed by suggested barrel length. This would not only help those who are doing this for the first time, but also be a one stop shop for those experienced installers being able to just grab and go without having to scroll around to other pages
really great idea to offer the option to add the spring. We will impliment this in the future. In the product description we advise what springs are reccomended. The reason why they were not offering in the kit is because many users use different springs for different builds. Some DSG builders go from 130-190 with an average spring use being an 150. Because of this wide variation users can purchase what ever spring they desiire on our website. We will 100% add the drop down option to select springs. Thanks for the feedback !
