Pinion Puller for Motors

Steel Pinion Puller. A product designed to safely remove the pinion off of your motor armature without damaging the motor.

First remove the grub screw that is holding your Motor Pinion in place. Sometimes heat has to be applied to break the bond if thread locked. 

Then insert the motor into the device. The bottom of the pinion will fit into a grove on the pinion puller. To remove start screwing down the main bolt and make sure the bolt head is in alignment with the motor shaft, the pinion puller will push down only on the shaft pushing the pinion off. 

MAKE SURE TO ONLY APPLY FORCE IF THE PINION PULLER IS IN ALIGNMENT WITH THE SHAFT, IF YOU APPLY PRESSURE WHILE THE PINION PULLER IS NOT CENTERED, YOU RISK BREAKING OR BENDING THE PINION PULLER.
