Krytac Spur Gear Spacer by The Real Deal Airsoft.
This piece replaces the factory "self shimming" spring that sits on the top shaft.
When it comes to building high end, high performance gearboxes and AEGs, precision matters. Having a spring instead of shims is a terrible decision when both options are available to you.
This spacer allows for enough play for additional shimming.
To install simply press onto the spur gear shaft. In hand you will notice a "lip" or a base on one of the sides. That is the bottom of the spacer and that portion should be touching the base of the spur gear shaft.
This piece is made for Krytac OEM Spur gear, may work for other gearsets that have "self shimming" towers or springs.
