The Real Deal Ultimate Tappet Plate has been designed 100% in house by Jake and is engineered to be the most cross compatible, durable, cost effective, tappet plate that can handle absurd rates of fire as well as having the strength to never fail.

We innovated the tappet spring post, by changing the way it connects and meshes with the tappet plate body. By adding 3 sides with extra sweeping material that has beautiful fillets to spread out the load, your Real Deal Ultimate Tappet Plate will never fail in that area. These sweeping sides act similar to a radius in a corner to prevent load from focusing on a given point. Use as strong tappet return spring as you desire!  

The Tappet Fin has been designed to not engage to early, as well it is fully compatible with delay chips. To achieve an amazing feeding window, pair this tappet plate with our High Speed Delay Chip. Always ensure your tappet plate is released when your piston is held by the last 3 teeth of your sector gear.

Tech Tips -  To achieve an amazing feeding window, pair this tappet plate with our High Speed Delay Chip. Always ensure your tappet plate is released fully when your piston is held by the last 3 teeth of your sector gear. Always cycle your gearset and observe the tappet timing before final assembly. With or without a delay chip, the goal is to have the tappet plate held open and then fully released when your piston is held by the last 3 teeth of the sector gear. 

With optimized gearsets, you may have to trim the tappet plate fin when paired with a delay chip to ensure tappet plate is fully forward at that final 3 teeth mark. Standard gearsets such as SHS or OEM Gearsets from factory more often do not require modification when paired with our High Speed Delay Chip.

With Brushed or Brushless DSG up to 50 RPS the DSG tappet plate can be used un modified, for faster setups you can file the tappet plate fin down to 10mm if you experience mis feeding in auto. All tester builds for DSG variant were 55 RPS Brushless DSG un modified.
